Every autumn, Cinekid organises the Cinekid Film, Television and Digital Media Festival for children during the school holidays. The international event in Amsterdam also extends throughout the country with events, screenings, workshops and master classes taking place in almost 40 cities in the Netherlands. Every year more than 65,000 children are given the opportunity to visit over 500 media productions – feature films, children’s documentaries, short films, animation films, television series and single productions, cross-media productions, interactive installations and workshops - selected by Cinekid.

CINEKID FOR PROFESSIONALS
Cinekid for Professionals (CfP) is a 5-day industry event aimed at (international) professionals working within the field of children's media. CfP takes place during the Cinekid Festival in October.
The event brings together broadcasters, networks, entertainment companies, distributors, producers, directors, academics and journalists who are offered a top-level conference, a co-production market incorporating around 35 film, television and cross-media projects, state-of-the-art screening facilities and the opportunity to network with many of the sector's leading players.
Key components of Cinekid for Professionals are:
-The Junior Co-production Market: presenting more than 30 new and innovative projects in development for children and youth audiences presented to leading financiers, broadcasters and potential co-producers.
-ScreeningClub: a digital screening facility with over 250 titles.
-A 2-day programme that offers various seminars, workshops, masterclasses and the renowned Cinekid Conference.
-Various network opportunities: including drinks in the innovative MediaLab in the presence of several artists and creators of the interactive installations.
