Arif Shaikh, before forming star cine services, was a part of the film & television industry since 1996. Arif Shaikh started his career as a production asst. With United Television, now known as UTV. After doing television for around 4 years, Arif joined Kunal Kohli Productions as a Production Manager and has executed various number of Television Shows for esteemed channels like zee tv / sony tv / star plus and etc. Also , he in his capacity as a production manager, has executed around 60 music videos and 30 ads. After gaining adequate experience and knowledge, arif shaikh quit kunal kohli productions and became independent. He has handled the entire pre – production, shoot and the post production of films like charas * Jimmy Shergil & Uday Chopra, Ahista Ahista * Abhay Deol & Soha Ali Khan. After being a part of industry for nearly a decade, arif wanted to do something of his own. After doing a lot of research, arif decided to get into supplying special film shooting equipments at that period, the hindi film industry was goin through the golden age and technical improvments constantly made to achiev the high quality results. This made arif venture into the field of technical logistics of film making and supply the industry with the latest equipments and highly trained crew to operate those equipments. Hence he layed the brick of what is now the biggest rental house in the Indian film industry in allies with Mr Uday Dongre.
