With his position as a leader in real estate development and confident in his potential for long-term development of the construction sector in Morocco, Mr Anas Sefrioui decided to extend his activities to the cement sector by creating Ciments de l'Atlas (CIMAT) in 2007.
Thus, as part of the investment agreement signed with the State on 18 July 2007, CIMAT launched the parallel construction of two cement plants, one in the Ben Ahmed region and the other in Beni Mellal;
Both cement plants have been built using the most recent technologies available, making it possible to comply with the most demanding national and international standards, both in terms of processes and energy savings, as well as in terms of environmental protection.
The company has opted for internationally recognized manufacturers, thus guaranteeing compliance with deadlines and the quality of the installations.
CIMAT's ambition is to be a recognized national operator in a sector that is strategic for the country's development and a professional and competitive player, contributing to the diversification of the offer and the strengthening of the national industrial sector.
