Cibus Health is an infant communications company whose mission is to become the recognised leader in infant wellness. We are building a technology that allows infants to communicate with their parents. Our first project is based around infant overfeeding. We use continuous monitoring of a proprietary combination of physiological markers to allow parents and caregivers to visualise and better understand the feeding process. The novelty behind the solutions we develop is that they provide non-invasive, real-time, and personalised feedback about physiological conditions through technologies that users are already familiar with.
Cibus Health is a University of Oxford Incubator start-up. We were awarded the 1st place prize in a recent University-wide Demo Day contest (July 2019). We are also supported by the European Regional Development Fund, delivered through the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP). Recently, we were winners of the Oxford University All Innovate Prize in 2020.
We have a strong team consisting of two PhD engineers with prior venture capital experience, a young mother, and and engineering finalist with prior startup experience. We work closely with Professor Jeroen Bergmann (Professor in Biomedical Engineering), who works on the development of smart devices.
