We searched high and low to find superior cacao with excellent flavor at scale and it just didn't exist. For us, compromising on quality or our values wasn't an option. So our Head of Quality Control, Steve, developed our own cacao process through 20 years of rigorous exploration, knowledge exchange, and experimentation alongside cacao farmers until he got it just right.

Cholaca sources, processes and produces high quality cacao products, including liquid cacao and cacao liquor. We start with beans grown in harmony with the natural ecosystem of the rainforest to produce rich wafers of single-origin cacao. That’s it. No fillers, no sugar, just cacao and cocoa butter.

We're focused on what cacao can do to make life better for people AND the planet. The reason we exist is to grow back the rainforest, making life better for people and the planet through growing and harvesting cacao. When you value the farmers who grow cacao and pay them fairly, they have the ability to strengthen their communities and nurture, even regrow, the rainforest in support of their livelihood. When the rainforest thrives so does the health of our planet.
