Children Of Persia

In 1999, a friend received a simple request from Iran to consider a donation in support of a month worth of daily lunches for an orphanage in southern Tehran. Children of Persia was the result of a successful fundraising campaign in response to this need. Children of Persia was established by a group of compassionate and caring friends who decided to create a sustainable model of helping underprivileged kids of Iran. For the past two decades, Children of Persia has grown into a large network of individuals sharing the conviction that the act of kindness and giving in creating opportunities children, no matter how small, creates a small ripple that can create a sea change.
