Started by Chicago Jazz Magazine founder Mike Jeffers in 2006 while working at the #1 hotel in North America at the time, the Peninsula Hotel Chicago.
Jeffers coordinated jazz trio, quartet and vocalist performances for VIP and corporate receptions at the hotel and realized there was a need to help clients connect with experienced musicians that looked great and sounded incredible.
He started Chicago Jazz Entertainment to help make it easy for clients to find the perfect music that would enhance their event but not overwhelm the guests.
Since that time Chicago Jazz Entertainment has provided music for fortune 500 companies, VIP Clients, foundation fundraisers, small corporate receptions and much more.
