It's full time maritime training facility is located in Gloucester, Virginia and proudly offers US Coast Guard approved courses and on-site testing. Chesapeake Marine Training Institute is an approved Workforce Investment Act Training Provider by the Commonwealth of Virginia and is approved for the Education and Training of Veterans. Our instructors are all US Coast Guard licensed, professional mariners, skilled in sharing their knowledge with others and providing personal tutoring when needed. They take pride in presenting professional seamanship skills and knowledge for mariners seeking their US Coast Guard license or Merchant Mariner’s Credential.
