Cheeverstown is a HSE funded section 38 organisation. It is our mission to empower people with intellectual disabilities to realise their true potential & live full and meaningful lives.
We are dedicated to creating a world where individuals with intellectual disabilities have the support they need to live the lives of their choice. We demonstrate this commitment by providing services tailored to the unique needs and aspirations of the people we support, in direct & constant partnership with their circles of support.
Our 4 Core Values:
Rights:
We advocate for the full recognition and enjoyment of all human rights and freedoms for individuals with disabilities, ensuring their dignity and social value are always respected.
Person-Centered:
We understand the importance of user focused design and value this strongly in all of the services that we provide. We prioritise the individual at the center of our services, ensuring that their preferences and needs shape all of our decisions.
Inclusion:
We are committed to fostering full inclusion in education, employment, recreation, and daily life activities, empowering individuals to participate fully in society.
Partnership:
Collaboration is key. We partner with the individuals we support, their families, friends, volunteers, universities, government bodies, housing agencies, employers and community members to ensure a holistic approach to support.
