Charityshare is a not-for-profit IT managed Service Company built on an ethos of “achieving more by working together”.
Formed in 2004, Charityshare is an award-wining ISO27001 consortium venture that provides a broad range of IT services to three charitable organisations within the UK; Age UK, Alzheimer’s Society and The Children’s Society. The company provides fit-for-purpose Information Technology services that are agile and scalable across the member organisations. These include: hosted technical infrastructure, service desk operations, IT support and infrastructure project delivery. By pooling IT infrastructure, each member charity gains access to superior networking and support services which can help some of the most vulnerable people in the country.
From its office in London, Charityshare supports thousands of users across some of the UK’s largest charitable organisations. The company enables the charities to share operational IT services, reduce costs through economies of scale, increase return on precious charity funds invested in IT and guarantees not-for-profit IT provision, creating efficiency and affordability. Overall, Charityshare demonstrates that innovative and successful collaboration between charities for the benefit of those that the charities serve is practical, effective and economical.
