The Chappell Hill Historical Society has been preserving and promoting the history, culture, and arts of the Chappell Hill, Texas region since 1964. The founding members came together with a goal to preserve the town's historic library. To raise funds, they held the first Bluebonnet Antique Show, which is now the Chappell Hill Bluebonnet Festival, and it is still the main fundraiser that supports our efforts in historic preservation. The Society preserves five historic buildings in town, including the 1927 public school building which now houses the Chappell Hill Historical Society Museum.
