Chambers Communications Corp.: Locally owned and in the business for over 45 years.
In 1959 Carolyn Chambers was granted a license for KEZI-TV in Eugene, Oregon. Soon after, she was part of the ownership group that formed Liberty Communications, the largest broadcast and cable operator in the United States during its day. In 1983 Carolyn ended her partnership with Liberty and formed Chambers Communications, which consisted of KEZI-TV and four cable television stations. In 1998 the Chambers Media Center, a full service, turnkey facility for film and video productions, opened and became the new state-of-the-art home of KEZI-TV.
Since then, the Chambers Media Center has been executing the vision of bringing together the production industry as a place where creative people can collaborate to produce quality entertainment efficiently under one roof.
There are two main businesses within Chambers Communications Corp. - Broadcast and Production. Within broadcast we own four ABC affiliates across the state of Oregon. In the production area, we have produced hundreds of hours of television programming, numerous independent films, and high end television commercials / marketing programs.
