Chamberlaine was founded in 1978 by Managing Director, Terry Sullivan offering window cleaning services to small business and residential home owners.
Terry’s objective was quite simply to build a 5* reputation by delivering a high-quality service based on integrity, consistency and value; creating a company that customers were happy to recommend and by 1983 this ethos saw Chamberlaine break into the commercial office cleaning sector with their first cleaning contracts, at a local travel company and sports outlet.
Chamberlaine soon managed to secure cleaning contracts at prime locations in Mayfair, further enhancing our growing reputation. Proudly working with several highly regarded Commercial Real Estate companies such as Derwent London and Savills, gave us the perfect opportunity to showcase our ethos and the level of service we are capable of.
Today Chamberlaine employ nearly 600 staff and provide a full suite of facilities services to complement their daily office cleaning contracts including washroom services, window cleaning, specialist periodic services and hard floor care to 200 plus clients throughout Central London and have one of the highest retention rates of staff and clients within the industry.
All this was achieved by staying true to our founding principles of integrity, consistency, value and customer-first philosophy.
