CERTIFIED Recycling is a leading provider of recycling and waste solutions services in Southern California. We provide waste reduction services to over 1,000 customers in a variety of industries with our core focus being to provide significant cost savings to our clients while helping them achieve their environmental goals and stay in compliance with local, state, and federal mandates for their waste programs. The company was founded in 1977 by John Dalton IV, who hauled recycled newspapers in an old rental truck late at night in the mid-1970s after his day job before dedicating himself full time to the recycling industry. CERTIFIED now operates 2 recycling facilities in the Southern California region and processes over 200,000,000 pounds of recyclable material annually. CERTIFIED is today majority-owned by the private equity firm Parallel49 Equity in partnership with the Company’s founding shareholders.
