The Centre for Transformative Work Design is a new research centre with Curtin University where some of world’s leading organisational behavior and organisational psychology minds are pioneering groundbreaking initiatives under the directorship of renowned Australian Research Council Laureate Fellow Professor Sharon K. Parker.
We conduct high quality, independent, and innovative research to understand the role of work design in generating healthy and productive work.
We are passionate about fostering the design of good work across all industries. Good work design creates healthier lives, unlocks human capability, and supports a skilled economy.
The Centre has five major research streams, focused on:
- Future work challenges
- How work design transforms individuals
- How work design transforms teams and organisations
-The antecedents of good work design
- Organisations and the mature workforce
A crucial element of the Centre is our outreach Collaboratory, where we engage with workers, employers, managers, policy-makers, and the community. Amongst other activities, we produce resources about work design for educators, researchers, managers, workers, and the community.
