Founded by Betty Ray, the Center for Ritual Design is a network of consultants and practitioners who work with organizations and individuals who are undergoing major transitions. In addition to individual client work, we have created and facilitated engaging transition management experiences for TED Courses, New Rules for Work, and as part of the Celebrant Foundation & Institute training.
A passionate speaker and warm facilitator, Ray spent 10 years as the Director of Innovation at the George Lucas Educational Foundation before winning a Mira Fellowship in 2020. There, she developed the Resilience Through Ritual framework, a 5-step process she uses with clients to create impactful programs that incorporate storytelling, design thinking, and ritual.
