The nation and world need leaders who transform public institutions into wellsprings of prosperity and equity. Using public education as its proving ground, the Center for Public Research and Leadership (CPRL) prepares the next generation of aspiring leaders to remake public systems, foster growth, and advance equity, all while improving the lives of millions of young people nationwide.
In its first 11 years, CPRL has fostered the learning and improvement of over 150 public systems and non-profit organizations across the education sectors of the United States and Brazil through more than 200 semester-long projects. Together, these projects have advanced equity for tens of millions of public school students, provided a uniquely authentic experiential training ground for CPRL’s future leaders, and offered intensive, targeted services to our clients.
CPRL’s over 550 alumni–each trained in the Center’s Evolutionary Learning model of organizational design and change, each holding at least one advanced professional degree, and over half identifying as people of color–are leaders in change-making organizations across the nation and globe.
