The Center for Family Outreach was established in December 2000 as a non-profit organization offering prevention, education and early intervention services for youth ages 8 and 18 and their families. We strive to restore hope and possibilities as we strengthen and inspire youth and families. We provide one-on-one case management, early intervention strategies, and educational programs for youth and families struggling with substance abuse, mental health issues, high family conflict and at-risk adolescent behavior.
Our classes focus on life skills development, drug and alcohol education, building self-esteem, addressing social media, bullying and cyber bullying and communication skills. We also offer individual and family therapy, art enrichment, and workshops designed to improve parenting and grand-parenting skills increasing healthy communication within families.
Since our opening we have served approximately 25,000 students and families struggling with issues like sobriety, homelessness, anger, out-of-control behavior and diminished life skills. Our referrals come from families, churches, schools, business partners, other non-profit organizations and the legal system.
