Cemeti Art House

Since 1988 through 2010, Cemeti has promoted and encouraged the growth of ideas and production of contemporary artists’ works, both those from Indonesia and abroad. Dozens of exhibitions and interdisciplinary art projects have been organized every year, as well as community and site-specific projects that are then supported with talks, presentations and discussions amongst artists. Collaborating with national and international art and culture organizations, Cemeti Art House provides a venue and, at the same time, a laboratory for possible art movements.
