Together with partners D/DOCK, a creative studio and impact innovation agency Max-G, Plastic Whale strives to involve a wide audience in the circular transition. Cathedrall will be a multidisciplinary place where individuals, companies and government come together to accelerate the transition to a circular economy. This is done through education, lectures and exhibitions.
We believe that Cathedrall can be a powerful symbol for change by building something beautiful from waste materials. Almost everyone knows by now that we have to move from a linear to a circular economy. But unfortunately we see few products and projects that appeal to and involve the general public. The subject matter is often still very technical and difficult to understand. We want to change that, starting with this building. This place should make it clear that we need to look differently at waste and raw materials. A place that makes circularity tangible. Here we want to bring people together who are convinced that we can and must do things differently.
We believe that the most groundbreaking solutions are created by bringing together all kinds of people, ideas and technologies. Therefore we call on companies, organisations and individuals to participate in the project. By working together and sharing expertise and resources, participating parties can make a significant contribution to the realisation of the floating cathedral.
Only through joint efforts can we create a circular future. For example, we naturally need a berth, a pontoon to build on, construction partners, waste materials, producers with innovative circular technologies, and investors.
