Catamaran Literary Reader is a quarterly print magazine. The magazine features fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and art. We are based in the new Tannery Arts and Digital Media Center Studios, in Santa Cruz, California. Our mission is to capture the vibrant creative spirit of the West Coast in writing and art from everywhere. Among the themes we address are environmentalism, personal freedom, innovation, and artistic spirit. We seek to present diverse national voices around themes such as these that have a special resonance with our region.
