Cassegrain Wines is an acclaimed producer of multi-NSW-region full flavoured, yet soft and elegant wines. Located on the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales - we are the areas most prominent winery and one of the few full-suite production facilities including bottling and packaging as well as Methode Traditionale sparkling processing capacity. The Cassegrain family began winemaking in France in 1643. After settling in Australia, they forged the revival of winemaking in the Hastings River region with the planting of the first vineyard near Port Macquarie in 1980. John and Eva Cassegrain first opened Cassegrain Wines on 16 December 1985, with the winery enjoying much success over the last three decades including many awards and accolades.
As a multi-regional producer, this approach allows Cassegrain Wines to focus on the strengths of each region, blending fruit and crafting wines of complexity and real interest, but true to style and variety.
