Cass School District 63 is a two-school district in DuPage County, Illinois serving approximately 850 students in a one-to-one technology device learning environment for all grades Prekindergarten through Eight. Students reside in portions of Darien, Willowbrook and unincorporated areas of Burr Ridge, Clarendon Hills, Downers Grove, Hinsdale, Lemont, as well as portions of Argonne National Laboratory. Both schools are located in suburban Darien, which is approximately 15 miles west of Chicago.
Concord Elementary School serves children in grades Prekindergarten through Four. The District offers a half-day Blended Prekindergarten Program and a full-day Kindergarten program. Students in grades One through Four have a comprehensive instructional program, which also includes Art, Music, Physical Education and extra curricular activities.
Cass Junior High School serves grades Five through Eight students. Students have quality instruction in rigorous core curricular areas, as well as in the Arts and Physical Education. In addition, accelerated and elective class offerings and many extra-curricular and interscholastic opportunities are available to enrich the learning process. As a result, students are able to extend and enhance their skills and knowledge in order to be continuous lifetime learners and successfully compete in the 21st Century global society.
A dedicated faculty and staff, strong support from the school community, the Cass 63 Foundation for Educational Excellence, the Fine Arts Boosters, the Parent Teacher Club and the effective leadership from the Administration and Board of Education, has assisted the District to consistently be recognized for exceptional academics, extra-curricular and interscholastic achievement and to receive numerous awards while establishing and maintaining a fiscally efficient, sound and stable organization, which is a responsible steward of public funds.
