Caspian World Wide Traders Pvt. Ltd.
Transfer printing technology was born in Italy in 1976, when the first experiments were conducted in this area. In 1983 the Menin family set up its first company, CA.TE.CO., to develop fabric printing technologies (transfer printing) with gold and silver foil effects; in just under two years CA.TE.CO grew to employ 70 people. In the late 80s the family established MENPHIS S.p.A. in a vast industrial area, and in 1992 it opened a transfer paper production unit featuring the first gravure line, quickly followed by a second unit. In 1995 Menphis created the Unitrans product specifically for fabrics, synthetic and natural leathers and acid paper (leather). In 1998 introduction of new products and expansion of the company's sales network led to an economic boom; Menphis S.p.A doubled its sales.
The company opened the engraving division that is its pride and joy on the eve of the second millennium, ready to face the challenges of the new markets. The remainder of Menphis' history is a rapid series of growing figures: by the year 2000 the company had more than a hundred employees. In May of that year it cut the ribbon for the opening of its new offices, followed by the opening of its new production plant in 2003 and new warehouse in 2004. In 2005 Menphis S.p.A. had 25,000 square metres of plants employing one hundred and thirty people full-time. In 2007 it saw record-breaking sales figures; in 2008 it opened an industrial painting plant and machine assembly workshop; in 2009 Menphis inaugurated a new warehouse and grouped together all its processes in a single productive plant, and its workforce grew to two hundred; the total surface area occupied and owned by Menphis S.p.A. grew to 40,000 thousand square metres.
