CGO holds an Adventure Activities Licence (R1845), awarded by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) on behalf of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). This licence is a legal requirement for providers of adventurous activities to under 18’s and indicates that a provider employs safety management systems and compliance with nationally accepted standards of best practice.
The Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge is a nationally recognised indicator of high quality educational provision. The award of the LOtC Quality Badge indicates that CGO understand clients’ needs and can tailor delivery around curriculum requirements or specific outcomes.
Adventuremark is a non-statutory safety scheme devised by the Adventure Activity Industry Advisory Committee (AAIAC) for providers of adventurous activities that are outside the scope of the Adventure Activity Licensing regulations. Adventuremark applies to all adventure activities and to all age groups.
CGO is an accredited centre for the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). ILM is the UK’s largest management body and combines industry-leading qualifications and specialist member services.
