We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. We serve as a catalyst for people to develop and improve their quality of life. We educate and counsel individuals to realize their potential for a healthy lifestyle by enriching family relationships, living without substance abuse, and modifying high risk behaviors. We provide professional assessment, planned intervention, comprehensive education, and prevention programming. Caring About People offers services in both English and Spanish.
Our programs include:
• Parenting Education Program (for parents of infants through teens)
• Substance Abuse Services (Adult and Adolescent)
• Violence Prevention
• Theft Prevention
• Individual/Family Counseling
Caring About People is internationally accredited through the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and certified by the Indiana Department of Mental Health. We have certified individuals that have completed ASPIN Case Management Certification. All of our counselors are trained and licensed in substance abuse.
We are one of only three agencies in Fort Wayne with accreditation from Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). We are the only agency that provides in-home case management and the only agency providing theft prevention counseling which is also needed by many substance abuse clients.
Caring About People, Inc. has been a Better Business Bureau accredited charity since 1998.
