Capital Psychological is the office of Dr. Diana Garcia. Located in Kanata South since 2004, the focus of the practice is to provide Ottawa and the surrounding communities with quality assessment and treatment services for children, adolescents, and adults with the goal of working toward a healthy well-being. TEAM Dr. Diana Garcia has over 20 years of experience in the field of psychology. She has provided psychological and counseling services in Ontario, and the states of Pennsylvania, and Florida. Dr. Darren Schmidt has over 10 years of clinical experience in providing neuropsychology and general psychological services to adolescents and adults. Janet Theobald is an experienced clinician with over 16 years experience in assessment, case management & counselling. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including child welfare, adoption, career development and private practice. Kathleen Szirtes provides a holistic space for individuals to explore personal goals and use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help people move through any barriers to personal freedom and success. She uses EMDR and CRM techniques to help clients transform pain and trauma. Sarah Mackrell holds a doctoral degree in assessment and measurement. She is a psychometrist with a focus on psycho-educational and neurocognitive assessments who works with children, adolescents, and adults in the Ottawa area. Dan Egarhos is a Canadian Certified Vocational Evaluator (CCVE) with more than 20 years of experience in the Province of Ontario. He has experience administering Vocational Evaluations, Psychological-Vocational Evaluations, Transferable Skills Analyses and Labour Market Surveys.
