The Capital Markets & Banking Workshop (CMBW) is a community of high-performing undergraduates at Indiana University that demonstrate an early passion for careers within the capital markets of an investment bank. The CMBW prepares students for careers in, but not limited to, fixed income, foreign exchange, capital markets (debt or equity), commodities, credit, public finance, asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities, and treasury management at various investment banks.
Historically, students have started their careers in commercial banking, providing corporate, commercial, and private banking services and capital management with ultra and high net worth families, individuals, and institutional clients.
Capital Markets & Banking professionals help provide liquidity, analytics, and pricing across an array of asset classes to internal and external banking investors. These professionals generally reside within the capital markets, global bank, and wealth management segments, as well as sales and trading groups. The Capital Markets and Banking Workshop educates and provides students with the knowledge base needed to succeed in these careers.
