The Canadian Mental Health Association - Montreal Branch is part of a century-old pan-Canadian organization that brings together more than 5,000 professionals in 330 service points. Founded in 1979, the Montreal Branch works primarily in Mental Health Promotion and Mental Illness Prevention. Its programs and activities target the social determinants of health in order to have a lasting impact on the Montrealers' wellbeing. They are aimed at everyone and more specifically at different population groups, including youth, seniors, psychosocial workers, employees, managers and entrepreneurs. Its actions are structured around 3 axes:
- knowledge transfer and information
- awareness
- social impact.
