Cambridge in America (CAm) is the alumni, development and communications center for the American constituents of Cambridge University and its thirty-one member Colleges.
Alumni Relations
Cambridge in America reaches out to Cantabs throughout the United States to build a community of alumni and friends. CAm hosts events in major cities and provides resources for local alumni groups to organize events and facilitate alumni networking.
Communications
Helping Cambridge alumni stay current with the University and their Colleges is one of CAm's overriding objectives. A semi-annual newsletter and CAm's regularly updated website (www.cantab.org) build bridges to Cambridge while keeping alumni informed about local events and personalities.
Annual Appeal
The Cambridge experience begins at Cambridge but lasts a lifetime. CAm appeals to its alumni to recognize the formative role Cambridge played in their education by asking their consideration of an annual tax-deductible gift to benefit their Cambridge College, the University, or both.
Benefaction
Cambridge in America facilitates major benefactions that help Cambridge achieve excellence in teaching and research, maintain its unique learning environment, and ensure access to the most able students. Cambridge in America's major gifts and planned giving programs offer opportunities for alumni, friends and institutions to support Cambridge on a larger scale and receive tax benefits for their contributions.
