Calgary Keys To Recovery Society

As part of Calgary’s 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness, Keys to Recovery provides permanent supportive housing to adults who are highly vulnerable and chronically homeless and would otherwise be discharged back into homelessness upon successful completion of addictions treatment. Clients pay 30% of their income towards the rent of their apartment. Case Managers regularly visit clients in their homes to provide assistance with relapse prevention, mental illness symptom management, employment/volunteer readiness, traditional Aboriginal ceremonies and access to an Elder, and systems navigation.
