Prior to the industry downturn, Cal Dive International, Inc. (CDI), a multinational marine construction firm, supported offshore oil and natural gas production lifecycle phases. Services included manned diving, pipelay and pipe burial, platform installation, platform salvage, as-well-as integrated services for more complex projects. Customer base included oil and natural gas producers, pipeline transmission companies, and offshore engineering and construction firms. Operational footprint encompassed the United States, Latin America, Southeast Asia, China, Australia, Middle East, Europe and West Africa.
