Cal Women’s Club Volleyball fields a competitive team of dedicated players with rigorous academic schedules. They are in Division 1 of the NCCVL (http://nccvl.org/) and compete against Cal Poly SLO, Santa Clara, Sonoma, UC Davis, and USF at the league level and teams from all over the country at the national level each season. The bears just won the national club championship in 2022! Tryouts are typically held in mid-September and the competitive season begins late-January and culminates at the NCVF National Championships in mid-April. Cal Men’s volleyball is a recognized competitor in Division I college club volleyball and competes at the highest level for the National Championship title. Cal Men’s Volleyball hosts tryouts in the early weeks of September. In Spring, Cal competes in the Northern California College Volleyball League against local rivals including Cal Poly SLO, UC Davis, and Stanford. The season concludes with the NCVF National Championships in early April, where Cal regularly finishes within the top 10 teams across the nation in Division I.
