COOLBACK® is an innovative and internationally patented application that replaces the conventional solar PV module frame and backsheet functionalities, keeping solar modules cooler and providing a more robust structure. Modules equipped with COOLBACK® well outperform conventional modules by 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗽𝘂𝘁, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗻 and 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗲, for the 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 as conventional modules. COOLBACK® was developed for utility-scale solar installations in areas with relatively high irradiation, providing effective heat management by cooling modules through natural convection and radiation.
