Clymove Dance, Inc. is a non-profit professional dance company based in New York City led by Founding Artistic Director Clymene Aldinger. CLYMOVE was formed with a commitment to virtuosic dance focused on truth and inclusive creative community. The company’s mission is to create message-driven art, movement, and performance. CLYMOVE seeks to develop a repertoire of purposeful work to be vividly expressed for and within artistic collectivity. The company is dedicated to virtuosic dance that develops from authentic exploration. The goal is to encourage the celebration and understanding of differences while nurturing our shared humanity. Our vision is for all artists to have access and the ability to express themselves freely. Mental health awareness is a significant aspect of our work both in and out of the studio and concert spaces we perform. Our goal is to develop a community outreach program for victims of violence/abuse and adults in trauma recovery by incorporating clinical mental health curriculum and the healing power of dance.
