Cio Lebanon Association

The CIO Lebanon Association is a professional group of current and former IT executives representing major Lebanese organizations. Founded in 2012, CIO Lebanon aims to improve the strategic business value of IT by providing a knowledge-sharing collaboration platform and a strong common voice for CIOs in industry and government. The current registered members represent Lebanon’s leading financial, education, manufacturing, healthcare, retail and other organizations. Share Experience, Enhance Knowledge & Explore Business Solutions The CIO Lebanon Association is unique in providing an interactive platform for various parties to exchange best practices and ideas and to formulate strategies for addressing common IT issues. We encourage the exchange of information related to technology, security and problem solving as well as evaluating new technologies to help the CIO community. We share insights and lessons learned through experience and IT implementation to create best practices and evolve standards. Objectives: Our Objectives include: • Leveraging best-practices • Strengthening the partnership with local Technology partners • Conducting world-class Information Systems research with Lebanese universities • Improving CIO-CxO relations ; creating a deep awareness of the strategic importance of the CIO position • Promoting business-friendly IT laws in Lebanon. • Supporting CIOs in their professional growth as effective leaders Governance: We are self-managed, not for profit and vendor neutral. The CIO Lebanon Board Members sets the overall policy and direction for the Association. The registered members elect the association's president and board of directors.
