Founded in 1898, the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy, and Petroleum (CIM) is the leading not-for-profit technical society of professionals in the Canadian minerals, metals, materials and energy industries.
CIM Student Chapter at Schulich School of Business is the only student chapter of Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy, and Petroleum (CIM) at a business school. It focuses on the natural resources sector from all business lenses including Management, Operations, Finance, Sustainability, and Supply Chain.
The chapter actively promotes Global Mining Management specialization at Schulich and acts as a liaison between faculty industry and member students.
