CFH has been Creating Foundations for Hope since 1979, empowering individuals and families, through a continuum of services, to create a safe affordable home in which everyone has the opportunity to thrive and reach their potential.
Throughout its history, CFH has developed and implemented a variety of programs and projects to help make housing affordable and sustainable for their neighbors. Current CFH programs include:
• Security deposit assistance
• Affordable rental homes that CFH owns and manages
• Down payment assistance to first-time homebuyers
• First-time homebuyer opportunities through the Acquire, Renovate and Sell Program
• Senior emergency financial assistance
• Mobile home park rescue and management
• Managing a local food pantry in Manassas
The Board of Directors of CFH has 11 volunteer members from the banking, real estate, legal and nonprofit sectors.
The staff of CFH includes the executive director, program manager, fiscal manager, office manager, community liaison, volunteer aide and program intern.
