Business Kapiti Horowhenua

Business Kapiti Horowhenua Inc is a not-for-profit organisation which exists to promote, encourage and celebrate excellence and success in business in the Kapiti and Horowhenua districts. Constitutionally, it has five objects: 1. To enhance the aptitude and potential of businesses and companies within the Kapiti and Horowhenua regions and such other geographical areas served from time to time by the Society. 2. To facilitate an annual awards function to recognise the achievements and to stimulate the development of businesses, companies and business people active in these regions. 3. To acquire a base that will enable the Society to operate effectively and that will benefit the members. 4. To foster a training and education programme measured and recognised at an annual awards function to stimulate the development of businesses,companies and business people active in these regions. 5. To do all things as may be conducive to the attainment of all or any of the above objects. To do these things BKH has two primary annual activities: 1. Organising and running the Electra Kapiti Horowhenua Business Awards 2. Organising and running the Kapiti Business Hall of Fame and the Horowhenua Business Hall of Fame.
