Founded in Long Beach, Calif., in 2014, our company seeks to merge the elegance of big publishing houses with the scrappiness of the country's most successful (and forward-thinking) independent authors. We are a mission-driven, environmentally friendly press focused (at the moment at least) on nonfiction works that challenge our perspectives or offer intriguing inroads into some of the most interesting issues of our time.
