It’s where two explorers said, ‘Hey! Why don’t we make fantastic vodka with the great stuff we’ve got right here?’ Mineral water from the South Island. Mountain water from the North Island. Distilled with whey sourced from all the happy, milk-making cows that feast on sweet grass all across the lush countryside.
So they teamed up with Master Blender Mark Simmonds, rolled up their sleeves, and got to work – sourcing water, perfecting the blend, testing distillates, refining the filtration process. Bringing their creativity and ingenuity to a recipe made with the purest ingredients they could find.
But it wasn’t all work work work. They hosted countless Friday night tasting parties – inviting neighbours, friends, and family to the Shed to sip the latest and voice their opinions. Because the recipe wouldn’t be THE RECIPE until all agreed it was damn near perfect. No additives. No sugar. No GMOs. No gluten. No shortcuts. No nothing but what vodka can be.
