Bridging Access to Care, Inc (BAC) serves thousands of residents each year in some of Brooklyn’s most ethnically, racially, and culturally diverse neighborhoods. Started as a task force to coordinate care for the marginalized population living with HIV/AIDS in 1986, BAC has transformed into is a multi-service community health care organization.
Today, we provide mental health, substance use, housing, health education, healthcare navigation and other social support services to help individuals, families, and communities build strength and resilience, achieve wellness, and live healthy productive lives. Trauma-informed care is at the heart of our work. We care deeply and have been delivering what we promise for 36 years.
