Current mobile security solutions are mainly focused on securing enterprise data used by enterprise apps through Mobile Device Management software. Today, smartphone apps and IoT devices empower users and provide superior experiences, but they often do so at the cost of privacy and security. Users are routinely asked to trade experience and enjoyment for unnecessary permissions when installing apps. The data that a typical consumer will readily agree to share and the data that he/she does not want to share are not separated from each other; both are moved to a “Gray Cloud” under control of the app companies.
