Blossom Rose

Blossom Rose Blossom was founded in 1993 as a grassroots NGO with the initial focus on social, economic and cultural empowerment of underprivileged women and children. Since then, blossom has broadened its vision to building community capacity in disadvantaged and high-risk areas of Tamil Nadu, with a particular focus on health. Blossom builds the capacity of communities by forming partnerships with community based organizations (CBOs) and stakeholders in society. Blossom uses a participatory approach to development, involving beneficiaries in the planning, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of its projects.Blossom undertakes a wide variety of community projects ranging from welfare and advocacy services, childhood education, economic and social empowerment of women and raising awareness about all socially sensitive issues.
