Operating one of the Isle of Wight’s best-loved outdoor attractions, we are committed to providing high quality guest experiences, providing safe spaces for families to create magical memories. Blackgang Chine, the oldest theme park in the UK, was first opened in 1843 by the Dabell family and is still owned and run by the same family today; fifth generation, Alexander Dabell – Vectis Ventures’ Managing Director. Robin Hill, nestled in the picturesque Arreton Valley, provides high-end outdoor environments for exploration, adventure and entertainment. 88 acres of parkland, countryside and woodland are lovingly tended to by a dedicated team. We’re committed to developing the tourism offer for the Isle of Wight, by extending the season and creating more year-round career opportunities within our industry. Employing approximately 170 staff across both parks; 40 of which are full-time permanent employees, we continually invest in our teams, with internal and external training and a career development programme aimed at identifying the ‘stars’ of our future. We have a very loyal workforce and welcome back employees year after year. Many have also progressed from seasonal posts into senior permanent positions.
