Quality Offerings: While growing a broad range of local and non-indigenous sustainably-grown Tropical Hardwoods, BSFF currently specializes in the management, harvest and marketing of high-quality Teak logs, lumber and processing by-products in quantities sufficient to meet a wide range of local Belizean and international customer demands: -Building contractors, -Boat builders, -Furniture manufacturers,-Cabinet makers, and -Artisans. Our Approach: Blackburn Santa Familia Farm follows a simple philosophy of intensive ecologically-responsible management of each one of our trees, from the nursery, to seedling development, all the way through to the final harvest and customer-defined processing. Leveraging a close association with the community we are privileged to call home, we are able to showcase otherwise rare and costly wood products, selected and made to specific order, at competitive prices. Sustainable Management: Established in 2001 and incorporated in Belize in 2004, Blackburn Santa Familia Farm (BSFF) is a Tropical Hardwood Plantation offering quality products to local and international markets. Entirely planted on 200+ acres / 80 hectares of reclaimed pasture, BSFF provides discerning customers with an avenue to acquiring exotic hardwoods at reasonable prices, grown and harvested without contributing to the ongoing destruction of the rapidly-diminishing natural rainforests around us. Growing the Future One Tree at a Time Blackburn Santa Familia Farm follows a simple philosophy of intensive ecologically-responsible management of each one of our trees, from the nursery, to seedling development, all the way through to the final harvest and customer-defined milling processes. Consequently, BSFF consistently produces a larger volume of 'useable timber' per tree than is otherwise typical of similar age trees often illegally extracted from natural rain forests.
