Bike Peddler Cycling & Fitness has been an established business for more than thirty-five years in Greeley, Colorado. The business was founded by Clyde Lane and his family in 1971. In 1983, Bike Peddler was purchased by Bill and Nancy Waller. During Bill and Nancy’s ownership, they focused their efforts on providing high quality bicycles and exceptional customer service. They built a very respectable reputation as Greeley’s best bicycle shop. In 1990, Bill and Nancy decided to sell their business to a regional bicycle chain called Cycle Logic. However in 1995, Bill and Nancy re-purchased the store. In 1996 and 1997, Trek Bicycle Corporation honored Bike Peddler with the ‘Award of Excellence’ and the ‘Award for Outstanding Achievement’. In 1999, Velo Business Magazine ranked the Bike Peddler as one of the top 100 bicycle retailer stores in the nation. The same year the Chicago Associated Bicycle Dealers Association awarded the Bike Peddler as ‘North America’s Best Dealer’. In April 2002, the Bike Peddler was purchased by Andy and Erika Greenberg. The Bike Peddler continues to strive for exceptional customer service and quallity products as begun in 1971. The Greeley Tribune recognized the Bike Peddler as the People’s Choice Awards in 2005 and 2007.
