Established nationally in 1904, and in 1964 in the Capital Region, Big Brothers Big Sisters is one of the oldest mentoring programs. We've worked in the Capital Region for over 50 years, partnering with five colleges and universities, school districts in four counties, and the community at large.
Our mission is to provide Capital Region children facing adversity with strong, enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships. These relationships will change their lives for the better, forever.
Our hope is to help Capital Region children realize their potential and build their futures. We nurture children and strengthen communities.
