About
BhuME's aim is to spread awareness about environment protection and fill the existing gap safe and sustainable products in the market. We up-cycle tailoring waste into educational toys with the help of Kudumbashree women to cater to the needs of children at anganwadis in our home district of Ernakulam.
Our project proposal for upcycling tailoring excess along the Western Ghats area has been selected for the inaugural cohort of Green Innovation Fund by UNDP, KSUM and Harithakeralam Mission.
Up-cycling activities received word of praise from the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Damodardas Modi during his 75th "Mann ki Baat" address to the nation.
