Bharat Barrel & Drum Mfg. Co. Private Limited he roots of one of India s premier barrel and drum manufacturing company can be traced back to 1949, when the Bharat Barrel and Drum Manufacturing Company started it s operation from Lower Parel, in Mumbai city, India. By 1960 in order to have a foothold in Eastern India, another manufacturing unit was started in Calcutta. A third unit was started at Mangalore in 1997 and another unit was taken over at Haldia, Eastern part city near Kolkata. Recently, a 5th unit was started in Faridabad to meet North India demands. At present all the plants boast of having one of the largest installed capacity in the country. Further, the drum line (Double Ended-Horizontal) of these plants is of Carando, USA, itself the world leader in drum manufacturing. We at Bharat Barrel and Drum Manufacturing Company are proud to be in the hallowed company of committees such as the Drum Association Committee and the ISI Drum Committee.
